Dr. Kundan is an Associate Professor at Ganpat University-V. M. Patel College of Management Studies, Gujarat, India. He holds a postgraduate degree in management from HNGU. He passed the management and commerce subjects of the NET test. His doctoral studies in management in the field of affordable housing finance were completed.

He has completed Online Certificate Courses in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Examination from West Virginia University, the USA, with Coursera. (2020); Python Basics for Data Science from IBM, an online learning initiative by IBM with edX (2021), Excel Modeling for Professionals: Best Practices & Pitfalls from Erasmus University Rotterdam and Delft University of Technology offered through Coursera (2021).

Dr. Kundan Patel  has worked on over seven research projects in different capacities, the most recent of which he served as Principal Investigator for the Sarva Sikha Abhiyan.

He earned the Ganpat University President Award for Staff Excellence in Institute Capacity Building for the year 2019, dated 12 January 2021, worth 1.5 lakh rupees. He got the Best Research Paper Award at the 2nd International Multidisciplinary Conference on Sustainable Development - New Vision for a Better Tomorrow, which took place on March 11-12, 2022. He got the Ganpat University President Award for Staff Excellence in the category of Institute Capacity Building for the year 2021 on 12 January 2023.

At Present, Dr. Kundan Patel is the Institute's Principal in charge.
