General Information
Kiran J. Patel has been working at Ganpat University since 2006. He is working as a coordinator of BBA (Financial Services) program. He is contributing to different institutional and university level portfolios viz. NAAC, ranking & rating activities, convocation, admission counselling, examination, anti-ragging committee, attendance committee, stakeholders’ feedback collection, NSS, students mentoring, project guidance, industrial visit, etc. He is also member of syllabus designing committee and exam audit committee of Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. In addition, he serves as the co-convener of GUNICSH (Ganpat University - Conferences of Social Science and Humanities) and has successfully organized three international conferences in the recent past.

Kiran J. Patel, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor in the area of Finance at Ganpat University - V. M. Patel College of Management Studies, Gujarat, India. He has completed his B.B.A. (Finance) from V. M. Patel College of Management Studies and M.B.A. with Finance specialization from V. M. Patel Institute of Management, Hemchandracharya University, Patan, India. His doctoral work focuses on internet banking. He is a recipient of the President Award for Staff Excellence in the category of ‘Support Service and Engagement’ for the year 2019 and ‘Institutional Capacity Building’ for the year 2022 by Ganpat University. He won first prize for Best Research Paper at Ganpat University’s ‘National Conference on Emerging Issues in Accounting & Commerce’ in 2018 and in the year 2020, his co-authored paper won the ‘Best Research Paper Award’ at the 12th International Conference on Perspectives, Practices, and Research Trends in Business Management & Innovation at Ganpat University - Faculty of Management Studies. He is also guiding research scholars of Ph.D. and M.Phil. courses. His research interest includes digital payment, financial literacy, investment behaviour, microfinance, and mutual fund investment. His research articles have been published in Scopus-indexed journals and numerous scholarly journals viz. International Journal of Bank Marketing (IJBM - Emerald), International Journal of Asian Business and Information Management, International Journal of Commerce and Business Management, International Journal of Recent Technology and Engineering, The IUP Journal of Bank Management and Asian Journal of Research in Banking & Finance. He likes to teach financial management, insurance practices, business research methods, digital finance and other related subjects.
