General Information
Since 2007, Dr. Vishal Acharya has been working at Ganpat University's V. M. Patel College of Management Studies. As of now, he serves as the B.Com (Hons.) and M.Com. (Financial Analyst) Program Coordinator. In addition, he oversees several student interactive portfolios, including those for institutional Sports (Khelotsav), value-added courses, hostel coordination, NSS, NAAC, and Social Media. Additionally, he represents VMPCMS in several University portfolios, including Sports, Examinations, Youth Festivals, and Sports. He is also co-convener of GUNICSH (Ganpat University - Conferences of Social Science and Humanities).

Dr. Vishal A. Acharya, Assistant Professor in Finance working at the Ganpat University - V. M. Patel College of Management Studies since 2007. He completed successfully the full-time residential FDP in Pedagogy and Research Methods at IIM-Ahmedabad in 2022. He received a Ph.D. from Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya, Gandhinagar, in the finance domain more specifically in the areas of investors' financial risk tolerance. His UGC-Net in Management (Finance Specialized) is now complete. Among other things, Online Payment, Digital Finance, Investors Risk Tolerance, Financial Gamification, and Investment Behaviour are some of his research interests. In addition to many articles in academic journals, he has three publications in journals that are indexed by Scopus. Additionally, he published cases in reputable journals. At the "National Conference on Emerging Issues in Accounting & Commerce," which was organized by the Ganpat University Faculty of Social Science and Humanities, he was awarded the First Prize for Best Research Paper. Ganpat University has also awarded him the President Award of Staff Excellence for Support Service and Engagement - 2020. He likes to focus on Financial Management, Non-Banking Financial Practices, International Finance, etc. when teaching finance courses.
